TECHNICAL CONDITIONS

Dimensions

Post Expres item minimal dimensions are 150 mm x 105 mm.

Sum of length and perimeter on the widest place diagonally may not exceed 3,000 mm, the largest dimension may not exceed 1,500 mm. Maximal weight in the domestic traffic is 50 kg. If a parcel is inseparable, the item may be larger, but not above 100 kg.

Post Express items may contain documents, written communication, various merchandise and other objects, except those prohibited by law.

Prohibited articles:

Money, jewellery, precious metals and stones, living animals, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, explosives, inflammable, radioactive and other hazardous substances, weapons and ammunition as well as other objects which are prohibited by law. All the consequences of posting an article and merchandise in the items which will be excluded from the transport shall be borne by the sender.

Regular Packaging

Suitable packaging is procured free of charge for the documents, but the parcels should be secured and wrapped by the sender.

Documents and written notifications are packed in a special Post Express cardboard envelope or a packaging suitable for the contents of the item.

For providing additional safety of items we offer Post Express polyethilene envelope with special closing.

Articles made of glass and other fragile articles should be packed in a hard box, filled with some appropriate protective material. Every friction or clashing during transport, either among the contents or between the articles and the walls of the box have to be prevented.

Liquids should be closed inside fully waterproof containers. Every receptacle is placed in a special hard box with the appropriate protective material for absorbing liquids in case of damage of the receptacle. The lid of the box should be closed tightly to prevent easy opening.

Greasy and hardly melted substances such as oils, liquid soap, creams, resin, etc. have to be closed in the first packing (box, canvas sack or plastic bag) and then placed in a wooden /metal/hard plastic box, preventing the contents to be visible.

Other kinds of dry powders have to be packed in a container (box, sack) made of metal, wood, resistant plastic material or of the cardboard. These containers have to be placed inside a hard box, made of wood, tin, plastics, etc.

In case that the shape of an article cannot be packed into a box the article has to be wrapped by the hard cardboard and filled with the appropriate protective material in order to provide full safety to the contents of the item in transport.

Addressing

Special Post Express Form is used for addressing items. Form may be filled in by customer or by Post Express courier. Sender is obliged to specify the service on the Form. Item can be handed in as:

• item with declared value
• advice of receipt item
• cash on delivery item
• personal delivery item
